This week we welcomed the last children to the class and we are now settling into our new routines. Lunch time is very exciting and the children are doing a great job in the lunch hall. They collect a tray and select their name before carrying their own tray to the table before their buddies come to join them.

We also enjoyed having our school librarian Miss Whiteley come down to read us a story before going to our school library – through the wardrobe! We will visit each Thursday afternoon to share stories. There is also a family library session on Tuesdays after school from 3-4pm.

We will be logging in to Tapestry and adding a post for the children each week which will give you a more in depth look at the learning and activities going on.

We will also have a weekly parent email that goes out to let you know about any key upcoming dates and plans as well as what we have in store for the week ahead.

This week we welcomed 11 new children to RF and they have all been settling in brilliantly! I am so proud of how well they have each come to school and got stuck straight in with the rest of the children and activities that are set up for them.
